Some of our Etiwanda teachers were asked why they became teachers. Ms. Ly, a fourth-grade teacher from Solorio, became a teacher to help others, to teach beyond academics, and to share important life skills and lessons.
This week's student spotlight shines on Andy, a Golden Elementary Star. Andy helped his friend Jacob in recovering a precious necklace that he had misplaced on the playground. Andy jumped in to assist Jacob, and he was successful in finding the necklace!

This week's friendship spotlight is on Avery and Elyssa, both Colony Cubs. To them, friendship means being kind and considerate of each other. Also, knowing that a friend is a special person that is always there for you and fun to be around.
