Hello Fifth Grade Families!

This is going to be a great year! We are excited to be teaming up to teach your child this year.

Kristina Mendez

This is my fifth year teaching fifth grade. I am so excited to help your child learn and grow. We have a lot of fun and exciting things planned for this year! As we all work together, your student will establish a great foundation in their future.

I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject Teaching credential from California State University San Bernardino. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading and playing with my puppy, Daisy.

Erika Vigil

I am extremely excited for this upcoming school year! I love being part of the Etiwanda Family here at Terra Vista. I feel very fortunate to work with the most amazing fifth-grade team. This is my tenth year teaching; previously, I taught 3rd grade and Kindergarten. I received both my Bachelor's degree and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. I also attend Concordia University of Irvine where I received a Master's degree in Education.

I love to spend time with my loving family and great friends. I especially enjoy playing games and being outdoors where I am able to hike, bike, kayak, and camp. Additionally, I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and most of all teaching!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Mendez and Mrs. Vigil

Many families have asked us for a list of supplies they could donate in the classroom.  This is a suggested list of items that our grade level teachers have identified as useful for our instructional purposes.  The purchase of any of these items is voluntary.  Donated items will be for whole class use unless otherwise indicated.

Our school provides all of the materials and supplies a child needs for classroom instruction; however, donations in any quantity of the following items are always appreciated.
