Parking Lot Procedures and Safety

Safety: Please help us keep our Timberwolves safe by abiding by the Parking Lot & Drop Off Zone procedures. Please review these expectations with your students and encourage them to always make safe choices. This year we anticipate an increase in student bike riders. Only students in second through fifth grade are allowed to ride bikes to Terra Vista. The California Highway Patrol offers guidelines and explains the laws of riding on public streets. Please note that anyone under 18 who uses a skateboard, non-motorized scooter, rollerblades or roller skates is required to wear a helmet. Only bicycles are allowed at Terra Vista. For bicycle riders, a person under 18 years of age cannot operate a bicycle or ride as a passenger without a properly fitted and fastened bicycle helmet that meets the standards of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or the SNELL Standards for Protective Headgear Please click on the link below for more information regarding our Parking Lot Procedures:

Parking Lot Regulations: For safety reasons, DO NOT allow your child to exit or enter your vehicle in the middle of the parking lot.  Wait patiently in line and pull ahead as far as possible before allowing students to enter or exit the car. Follow the flow of traffic through the parking lot.  If you are waiting for your child, park in a designated parking area. Please do not park at curb areas.
